EXECUTIVE CHEF FOR CARIBBEAN LUXURY RESORT HOTEL
Our Client, a luxury resort hotel in the Caribbean, belonging to a well-respected international hotel group, requires an outstanding Executive Chef.
This property has several food and beverage outlets, room service and excellent banqueting facilities. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, energetic, keen, personable and self-motivated Executive Chef who excels in service and strives for excellence.
The Executive Chef will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the kitchen operations including all culinary policies and procedures; monitor kitchen inventories to ensure compliance with hotel operations such as cost controls and quality assurance; supervise all F&B preparation and presentation to assure kitchen department standards are upheld and achieved; ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will:
Have 5+ years senior culinary management experience in a first class resort wit current, valid and relevant trade qualifications
Be creative and modern approach to menu design and production of high quality food
Be decisive, results oriented and forward thinking
Have superior skills in communication, planning and organization
Have proven ability to train and develop a strong multi-national culinary brigade
Be proficient with computers and programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Note: Island Experience is preferred
Compensation is US$78,000+ gross per year, US$1,500 monthly housing allowance, bonus incentive and full family medical package, plus 4 weeks annual vacation with return ticket to home country.
