Financial Controller – Saskatchewan

A recognized real estate and hospitality group, whose profile includes residential (suites), commercial, and technology seeks a strong Finance professional who will be based at their office in Saskatchewan, Canada. This group also represents other service residence owners who seek assistance with their properties revenue. The Financial Controller must come with experience in similar residential and commercial properties in Canada (preferably in Western Canada), or from a travel related reservation portal.

Our client is looking for an experienced financial leader to help manage and grow the company. This person must be capable of taking the responsibility of a CFO’s role in the near future.

The Financial Controller must be a CPA with Canadian accounting experience. Minimum of 8-10 years of industry related financial management experience is important, along with a strategic mindset and excellent problem solving skills.

This role requires an outstanding candidate who has a wide breadth of experience and an entrepreneurial mindset. The client is looking for someone who can help craft their corporate vision and strategy and then follow through with skilled execution of all financial aspects of that strategy. Therefore, it is important that this person have strong relationship and networking skills to work with all stakeholders to establish identifiable targets and objectives. Being able to clearly communicate with the CEO and shareholders, as well as all those reporting to the Financial Controller will be critical to achieving ongoing success.

The successful candidate will likely have operations experience in some or all of the company’s core businesses, as well as a strong educational background, including industry certifications.

Salary is between CAN$85,000 to CAN$100,000 plus company benefits.
