We seek a German speaking General Manager for a luxury global brand’s 200+ room property in Berlin, Germany. The group manages city centre business hotels, resorts, theme parks and other hospitality entities in SE Asia, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Previous or current work history in Germany or Europe is mandatory.  So, do not apply unless you have this experience.  International experience would be a huge asset for this position.

This is an outstanding opportunity for the right General Manager to oversee this centrally located 5* hotel with stylish rooms, restaurants and state of the art facilities.  For this post, our client prefers someone who has worked as a General Manager for more than 5 years in a similar luxury global brand.

As the General Manager you are the primary business leader of the hotel, with responsibility for all aspects of the operation.  Our client seeks someone who is on his/her feet and makes things happen.  A real guest oriented and friendly person.

The ideal candidate would be knowledgeable in the Operations, with strong leadership skills and thorough understanding and background in Sales and Marketing, especially with knowledge of the current hotel scene in Germany and in Europe.

He/She will be responsible for the overall success of this hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met.  You are required to manage all areas of the hotel in accordance with brand standards to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality.  The successful candidate should have the ability to implement company policies and procedures that will meet or exceed owner and management expectations.

Good working knowledge of computers and systems is required, along with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and team building skills with the ability to coach, mentor and motivate the hotel staff.
