Description

A major European hotel group recognized for its collection of luxury hotels worldwide seeks a dynamic Group Director of Human Resources/Recruitment who will be based at the group’s offices in France and in other parts of EU.

You must carry a European  Union Passport

It is very important for this individual to have the knowledge of current HR and Recruitment Technology, along with the experience in implementing recruitment/application tracking and talent management solutions.  What our client is looking for is a talent acquisition and development expert, who has an affinity to rolling out new tools and systems effectively across the globe, can run internal talent processes, actively drive employer branding activities globally, support on sourcing senior roles internally or by managing talent pools.  Someone who has worked in a corporate or large regional talent role and/or recruitment company at one point, who has worked with HR systems, has an understanding of modern HR management and employer branding,

To apply for this post, candidates must have a European Passport, or have the right to work in EU.  Working experience in Asia and/or Middle East would be a plus.     

The successful candidate will report to and work with the VP Human Resources and Corporate Executives to identify recruitment needs and develop internal and external sourcing strategies to meet these needs. He/She will manage the overall selection of employees and offer process for corporate and senior hotel positions.

The individual will establish relationships with preferred recruitment agencies and other appropriate third parties to support corporate and hotel recruitment needs, identify and recruit high potential candidates from competitors and alternative industries, develop a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical roles.

The candidate will work with the VP of Human Resources to ensure talent sourcing activities are linked to internal succession planning systems and tools. Work with all the Director of HRs to support the implementation of the hotels’ strategy. Ensure advertising, recruitment and selection policies and practices are implemented consistently throughout all the properties of the group and maintain up to date knowledge regarding labor market and industry trends that will impact on talent sourcing needs and approach.
