Our client that operates a beautiful and large deluxe resort property in the Caribbean requires an exceptional
Resort Operations Manager
with strong rooms division and resort property management experience.
Skills and knowledge:
Assumes responsibility for all areas of rooms and operations for the entire resort.
Hardworking, assertive, leading by example, hands on & detail oriented.
Excellent organizational, administrative & planning skills.
Strong financial knowledge (Planning, budgeting and cost control) with sound expertise with the relevant support & FO/IT systems.
Consistently demonstrated a high ability to motivate and drive his team through changes & to reach property achievements.
Extensive training knowledge in rooms division and quality standards implementation.
Strong, firm and fair effective leadership/staff management skills.
Proven track of total guest satisfaction, offering impeccable and memorable service to all guests
Innovative and thinking out of the box when needed.
Position will be required to work flexible hours and schedules.
Current on latest applications and systems in both front and back of house.
Exceptional eye for detail and consistent follow up.
This position reports directly to the Hotel Manager/Resident Manager
Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar style of a high end and large resort operation
Preferably a strong rooms division individual looking for an advancement to Resort Manager in the next 3 years
College Graduate with recognized hospitality management qualification preferably at a Bachelor level and above.
Previous or current resort experience in the Caribbean or island setting anywhere in the world
Starting salary of $70,000USD gross plus suitable housing offered for single or married person with maybe one young child. Plus excellent company expat benefits.
