After Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Cunard, P&O Cruises and Silversea, now also Regent Seven Seas has appointed its first female Captain
Serena Melani, 42 years old from the Toscany region, Italy, has been appointed the first female captain at Regent Seven Seas as master of the refurbished Seven Seas Mariner, cruising from the Caribbean to Alaska
She joined Regent Seven Seas in 2010 and most recently served as staff captain on Seven Seas Mariner for two years.
Regent Seven Seas, based in Miami, is a luxury cruise brand of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, the parent company of Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania Cruises.
